IRGC vows to ‘pursue and kill’ Netanyahu as questions grow over his whereabouts

TEHRAN - Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has vowed to pursue Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he is still alive, as speculation continues to circulate about his whereabouts following days without a public appearance.

In a statement released Sunday, the IRGC said the uncertainty surrounding Netanyahu’s situation reflects a growing crisis within Israel’s leadership during the ongoing war with Iran.

“The unknown fate of the Zionist criminal prime minister and the possibility of his death or his escape, along with his family, from the occupied territories reveal a crisis and the faltering situation of the Zionists,” the statement said.

“If this child-killing criminal is still alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” it added.

The remarks come amid ongoing speculation online about Netanyahu’s location. Some social media users have questioned recent videos released by his office, pointing to alleged visual anomalies in footage shared on March 12 that appeared to show irregularities, including what some said looked like six fingers on one of his hands. This has led to speculation that the video may have been generated or altered using artificial intelligence.

American political commentator Candace Owens also joined the discussion on social media, asking: “Where’s Bibi?”—a reference to Netanyahu’s widely used nickname. She questioned why Netanyahu’s office appeared to release and later remove videos circulating online.

Despite the speculation, Israeli officials have not issued any confirmation regarding the claims, and Netanyahu has not publicly addressed the discussion.

The controversy comes amid the joint U.S-Israeli aggression against Iran which began on February 28.
According to Iranian authorities, approximately 1,500 people have been killed in the strikes since the beginning of the campaign, with thousands more wounded and significant damage reported in residential areas and infrastructure.

Iranian officials have repeatedly condemned the attacks, accusing Israel and the United States of targeting civilian areas and warning that Tehran will continue responding to the aggression.
